The MU-School Web-Gate

This is the Web Gateway to our virtual educational environment. We use it as a research facility and demonstration site and permits people to meet using only their web browsers.

We have augmented this with the "Web-Projector*" which allows instructors and students to show simultaneous presentation of visual materials on the participants' web-browsers. There are also laboratory rooms, private offices, and other types of places here, each with it's own special functions. Please join us for a visit!

The link you use to connect will depend on which browser you are using right now. Our goal is to provide a set of stable, consistent features to every browser using JavaScript and/or Java. The unfortunate fact is that, as of mid-February, stable delivery of the full range of our features is available only to Netscape 2.1 (and higher) users.

We're close to a more expansive solution and Java is becoming more widely available to other computer platforms.
